A Mass Intention is a specific offering of a mass in honor of or in memory of someone by name at a specific mass time on a specific date. A Mass Intention is traditionally offered as a gift to someone who is grieving a recent loss or celebrating a milestone.
You can request a Mass intention for a deceased or living person by contacting either of our parish offices. Call 847-251-0771 for Masses at the St. Joseph Church, and call 847-256-4250 for Masses at the St. Francis Xavier Church. If you prefer to e-mail, please e-mail your request to officessjfx@ssjfx.org. A small offering is usually given for each intention. Mass intention cards for the family of the intended, are available on request.
