At Saints JFX, we are committed to creating a welcoming and safe environment for everyone who walks through our doors and most especially for our children and young people.
Every staff member and volunteer who works at our parish receives training in creating safe environments as well as in recognizing potential warning signs of abuse. This includes an initial training offered through VIRTUS, the safe environment training used by the Archdiocese of Chicago. In addition, all staff and volunteers also complete regular ongoing formation modules in safe environment protocols. We also monitor all programs to ensure that safe environment protocols are followed.
