Choir Season Returns!
After an 18 month hiatus, our choirs will soon resume with regular weekly schedules. The first opportunity will be to provide music at the Sister’s Jubilee Mass on Sunday August 22nd at the St. Joseph Church. Join us for the rehearsal at 9:30 am in the St. Joseph Church Community Room. Mass music will begin at 10:50am - we will be seated in the upper loft. ALL are welcome.
Our contact list is outdated.
Please sign up (previous and new singers) for our parish choirs at SJ and SFX Churches, by e-mailing both firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com with your name, contact information, and any preference you might have for church location.
We have exciting news: Registration is now open for our Youth Faith Formation (YFF) Program at Saints JFX! The Archdiocese has shared with us that all Youth Formation Classes will meet in person for the upcoming school year.
Please use this LINK to register for YFF classes.
As our program continues to grow, we are looking for ways to best meet the needs of our parish families. We offer classes at both church campuses on Sundays and have additional after school classes on Tuesday at the St. Joseph church campus. See the registration form for more information.
Questions? Contact YFF Directors Dani Froelich – firstname.lastname@example.org Director of non-Sacrament classes, OR Dana McKenna – email@example.com, Director of Sacrament classes.
Fr. Robert Ryan is from Antioch, IL, and is the youngest of 3 children. Before becoming a priest, he attended Michigan State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising in 2007, and then moved to Austin, TX, where he had a successful sales career in IT. In 2013, he had a profound and powerful experience of the Lord’s mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and felt a calling from God. Fr. Ryan began his formation for the priesthood in 2015, and has since completed a Master of Arts in Philosophy and Religion.
Fr. Ryan was ordained as a Catholic priest in 2021. He also completed a Baccalaureate of Sacred Theology and Master of Divinity in 2021. He will complete a Licentiate of Sacred Theology in 2023, while actively preaching and celebrating sacraments at both our Saints JFX churches.
Fr. Ryan is very excited and thankful to come and be a part of the Saints JFX community. His desire is for us to come to know and love each other and, together, come to know and love Our Lord, Jesus Christ. We ask you to welcome and pray for Fr. Ryan as he begins his journey at Saints JFX, beginning July 1, 2021.
Calling all volunteers, would you be willing to "pivot" once again - and join our new team of volunteers as a welcomer and/or usher for Saturday evening (5pm) and Sunday morning Masses? Please sign up to volunteer here.
We would love to have a few smiling faces (perhaps a whole family of smiling faces) welcome our parishioners each week, assist with seating, take up our collections, distribute bulletins and wish our parishioners well as they depart Mass. Whether you opt to volunteer once a quarter, once a month, or once a week, your welcome and spirit would be a blessing to our parish.
If you can’t sign up at this time, let’s all remember to smile and greet others at Mass. All are welcome at Saints JFX!
An announcement from Fr. Wayne Watts:
I have the good news from the Archdiocese that we have all been waiting for: Advance sign up for weekend Masses is no longer required. Thank God, we can finally say “all are welcome” and fill the pews of our churches! Masks are no longer required, but can be worn at your discretion. I look forward to seeing you at one of our Masses:
Saturday at both churches at 5:00 pm
Sunday at 8:00 am at Saint Joseph Church
Sunday 9:30 am and 11:30 am at SFX Church
Sunday car Mass at 10:30 am in the St Joe’s School parking lot will continue.

Pope Francis announced the year of "St. Joseph" in honor of the 150 year anniversary of the Saint's proclamation as the patron of the Universal Church. The year begins Dec 8th, 2020 and ends Dec 8, 2021, according to a decree by the Pope. The decree states that Pope Francis established a "year of St. Joseph" so that every member of the faithful, following the Saint's example, may strengthen their life of faith daily in the complete fulfillment of God's will.
