Join us for a nonpartisan, interfaith, communitywide event to learn more about the buses arriving in the North Shore from Texas, and how our north suburban communities can come together to respond. Featuring speeches from local faith leaders, civic groups, elected officials, and an interview by Sandra Torres (as seen on NBC 5 / Telemundo) with some newcomers themselves. Free to attend but please register below and bring a suggested donation of new, unopened hygiene items (diapers, wipes, maxi pads, soap, shampoo, toothbrushes & toothpaste), gift cards, or Ventra transit cards. Three volunteers are being asked to bring a pot of meatless soup. Volunteers would arrive at 5:45PM to set up the Community Room at St. Joseph and guests start arriving at 6:30PM for soup, stations begin at 7:30PM.

Join the Saints Joseph Francis Xavier Parish and Master Planning Team for a Community Presentation of the Saints JFX One Plan on March 11th at the SFX Gymnasium. The SJFX One Plan is a cohesive master plan for the Parish that will serve as a long-term vision and investment strategy to guide improvement and maintenance of the Parish’s internal and external facilities. The presentation will begin at 6:30pm followed by a chance to explore summary exhibits with similar information and opportunities to help the Parish prioritize improvements.
