Kevin Matthews: Broken Mary: A Journey of Hope - Live, Thursday May 13 at 6pm - SJ parking lot1/2/2021
On Thursday, May 13 at 6pm, the Feast of Our Lady of Fatima, Kevin Mathews, radio personality and author of Broken Mary: A Journey of Hope, will present from the “stay-in-your-car” shelter located in the St. Joseph School parking lot. Tune your car radio to 95.7FM
He will outline his journey of faith as it was guided and protected by Our Lady, and will then lead the Rosary in the Mary Garden, located in the school yard. All are welcome to the presentation and the reciting of the Rosary. Kevin Matthews, a household name in the Chicago area for over 17 years, entertained 10 million listeners a week on AM 1000 The Loop and ABC and CBS radio. In the fall of 2008, he was partially paralyzed by multiple sclerosis. Broken Mary is the story of his radio career, his struggle to overcome a debilitating disease, and a chance encounter with a statue of the Virgin Mary found next to a dumpster. His enduring faith and great humor will capture the attention and the hearts of all--young and old. Lenten Retreat offered by IPS Scripture School
